REQUIREMENT
The client needed a website relaunch that would transfer the historical character of the company to a modern and informative system to appeal to national and international visitors.
The website was to be given a modern character, which on the one hand focuses on the different destinations, but on the other hand also picks up on the decades of experience.
IMPLEMENTATION
The new website of Munich Daytrips was set up in Pimcore to implement all requirements in the best possible way. The result of the relaunch is an intuitive and modern website with a focus on graphic elements and high usability.
The central header video already shows impressive footage of the sights visitors can discover. The coaches are also presented, so that an impression of the comfortable excursions is already created here.
Clear menu navigation leads to all available tours. The respective tours convince with numerous information and meaningful pictures. Stopovers and costs are presented transparently, the booking process is intuitive and fast.
In order to present all tours, a combination of stock materials and videos and images were edited and integrated by the client.
Design, programming and content generation were handled centrally by valantic DXA to make the site coherent.
CONCLUSION
The new Munich Daytrips website combines experience with modernity, intuitive use with informative content. The clear tour description and the simple booking process appeal to many national and international tourists in Munich who want to use their stay in the Bavarian capital for additional excursions to the most beautiful sights in southern Germany.
