UX Design and UI Design

UX/UI design is used to improve the user experience. The focus is on the needs and requirements of the user.

UX Design or User Experience Design deals with the optimisation of the interface between man and machine. The purpose of UX design is to create a holistic positive user experience. Closely related to this is UI design - the user interface design. UI focuses on making an interface easy and simple to use. In UX and UI design, the needs of users are analysed in detail and the insights gained are then implemented in the interface of an app or website. The goal is intuitive usability for the user and simplified orientation.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UX AND UI DESIGN?

UI design focuses on the usability of a user interface. It should be simple, logical and rewarding.

UX design focuses on the user's behaviour - before, during and after use. It also takes into account the user's emotions, which are triggered by the presentation of a product.

WHY UX DESIGN AND UI DESIGN ARE SO IMPORTANT

Ideally, users should be able to intuitively grasp a website or app and quickly operate it themselves.

As we come into contact with digital platforms more and more in our everyday lives, both the interface and the overall experience must be optimised when using such a platform. If the user has a bad experience because, for example, they do not understand certain elements or it is complicated to use, they will leave. This leaves a negative overall impression that can affect the company's image and also costs the company precious leads.

UX design and UI design should play a central role in the considerations of companies. If you know your users, you have to adapt to their needs. This ensures that the end product is actually accepted by the target group. An excellently programmed website is no longer purposeful without a well-considered UX/UI design.
